What is a Beta release?

One or more features of the SkyCaddie®, including applications used in connection with the SkyCaddie, may be offered as a Beta release (otherwise referred to as a “Beta feature”). Beta features may be offered to SkyCaddie members as a way to try new functionality of the SkyCaddie for a limited time. These features are shared with the SkyCaddie community with the intent of receiving feedback on the usability of the new features. Beta features may be offered during the SkyCaddie Membership registration or renewal process, and Beta features are subject to the Terms and Conditions as described below.

Terms and Conditions of Beta Features

By downloading and using Beta features, you acknowledge that they are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” and that SkyHawke Technologies, LLC (d.b.a. SkyGolf®) makes no warranty of any kind — express or implied — with respect to Beta features. By using Beta features, you agree that (i) use of Beta features is at your own risk and for the purpose of evaluating the features and identifying errors, (ii) Beta features may include known and unknown bugs, and (iii) SkyGolf may discontinue or modify Beta features at any time. SkyGolf makes no guarantee that Beta features will ever be released from Beta testing as a full feature for use with the SkyCaddie. While Beta features may initially be provided free of charge, SkyGolf may — at any time — discontinue any such free use and may make access to or use of Beta features (and the features upon full release) subject to payment of additional fees or costs.
