Sync your SkyCaddie SGX

The SGX uses a USB connection to communicate through your computer to our servers. In order to safely connect and remove the SGX device from your computer before and after a sync, please follow these easy steps:

  • connect-cable-sgX

    Connect the enclosed micro-USB cable to your SGX

    Please make sure that the cable provided with your SkyCaddie is plugged into the corresponding port on the top left side of the SkyCaddie. You will need to lift the protective port cover to make this connection.

  • plug-computer-sgX

    Plug the other end of the USB cable into your computer

    Plug the other end of the same cable into an available USB port on the front or back of your computer (the USB port may be located on the side of your computer, if you are using a laptop).

  • power-on-sgX

    Power on the SGX

    As soon as you connect the USB cable to your computer, the SGX should power on automatically. However, if it doesn’t, please press and hold the center Power Button for 3 seconds until the SGX’s display turns on. If the screen remains blank after pressing this button, you may need to charge the battery.

  • sync

    Sync your SkyCaddie SGX

    Once you’ve connected your SGX to the computer and it has booted up, make sure the device is displaying the Sync screen. Within CaddieSync, click on the “Sync” button to start the communication process.

    Note: If the Sync screen does not appear on the SGX, please power off the device and power it back on. You do not need to disconnect it while doing this. This should reboot the device so it displays the Sync screen.
